Percat and King win MRF support races

Australian Nick Percat, winner of the latest edition of the Bathurst 1000 touring car race, took top honours in race one while 17-year-old Jordan King, from the UK, claimed top honours in the second and final race of the MRF Delhi Championship at the Buddh International Circuit.

Percat won the first race unchallenged from pole while King took the lead in the opening lap of race two after a controversial incident with Percat. Starting second on the grid, 18-year-old Alice Powell drove a hard race to finish second, over two seconds behind King. Iran’s Kourosh Khani finished in third spot while Gaurav Gill was the best of the Indian drivers, finishing a respectable sixth.
