    Ducati’s fourth Pikes peak win

Bruno Langlois has taken Ducati’s Pikes Peak Multistrada 1200 S to its fourth consecutive win in the 1205 category of his bike’s namesake event, the Pike’s Peak hill-climb race. Bruno achieved this with Ducati West Europe backing and support from local Ducati dealer, Moto Prestige. Pikes Peak has riders collecting from around the globe to prove their mettle sprinting up the Rocky Mountains, just 16km west of Colorado Springs. This gruelling race starts at an altitude of 2,862 metres to finish up in the clouds at 4,300 metres. Bruno managed to secure third place last year astride a Ducati Streetfighter.

The Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak houses a 1198.4cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 11 degree Desmodromic, L-twin cylinder engine, and makes a hefty 150bhp. The tech laden six-speed transmission Ducati bike also offers riding modes that work in tandem with electronic suspension, an effective traction control system and ABS brakes.
