In what is certainly going to be one of the biggest launches of 2018, Maruti Suzuki will soon bring in the all-new Ertiga. But before that happens, we’ve flown out to Indonesia to get up close with it and bring you an exclusive first drive report. There’s also our comparison of the Volvo XC40 and the BMW X1, a face-off between the Mercedes-AMG GT R and Nissan GT-R, and a report from our drag race day, which saw 11 quick cars show up. Also part of this issue are reviews of the Mahindra TUV300 Plus, Mercedes-Benz E-class All-Terrain, Renault Duster CVT, the new BMW X4 and more. Here are the highlights:

    Maruti Suzuki Ertiga exclusive drive
The all-new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be launched in India around Diwali this year, but it’s already on sale in Indonesia. We hopped on to a flight to go check it out for ourselves, and found it bigger and better than ever.

    Volvo XC40 vs BMW X1
Volvo’s new small SUV is eager to impress with its long features list and an attractive price tag. We find out if it is better than the best small luxury SUV there is – the BMW X1.

    Mercedes-AMG GT R vs Nissan GT-R
All that separates the Mercedes-AMG GT R from the Nissan GT-R is a hyphen. In practice, however, we can assure you it’s so much more than just that.

    New BMW X4
Is the second-generation BMW X4 just a more stylish take on the X3, or is there more to this SUV-coupe? We bring you the answer.

    Mercedes-Benz E-class All-Terrain
There's a new E-class in town, but you'll be surprised to know it's a rugged, all-wheel-drive estate. We put it through its paces.

    Mahindra TUV300 Plus
As its name suggests, the Mahindra TUV300 Plus has seats for more people, but how usable a package is it? We find out.

    Autocar’s drag race day
11 quick cars. Two of our quickest drivers. A quarter-mile stretch of tarmac. We recount the action from our high-octane drag race day.

    BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS
We've waited for them a long time, and they're finally here. The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS sport premium price tags, but do they do enough to justify them? We bring you the answer.

Yamaha R15 V3.0 vs Bajaj Pulsar RS 200
Here are two of the sportiest, most affordable faired motorcycles you can buy, but which one should you pick – the new Yamaha R15 V3.0 or the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200? We tell you.

    Race-spec KTM RC 390
This month, we've ridden a KTM RC 390 that's over 20kg lighter than the stock bike and more powerful as well. Got your attention? Read all about our experience astride this race bike in this issue.
