Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition priced at Rs 21.21 lakh

Toyota has silently added a new limited-edition version of the Innova Crysta, called the Leadership Edition, to the MPV’s India line-up. Priced at Rs 21.21 lakh, the Innova Crysta Leadership Edition is based on the VX trim, but gets cosmetic changes, feature additions and costs Rs 62,000 more.

For the additional outlay, the special-edition model gets a blacked-out roof and alloy wheels, molding on the front lip, rear spoiler and side skirts, and garnish on the grille. Leadership Edition badges are also seen outside and inside, with the seat covers getting the logo too. Its cabin has an all-black theme, with the roof lining also finished in black.

To the Innova Crysta VX trim's standard features – like three airbags, automatic headlights and wipers, LED DRLs, leather-wrapped gear knob, leather-wrapped steering with audio controls, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, push button start and cruise control – Toyota India has also added a 360-degree camera and auto-folding outside rear view mirrors to the Leadership Edition.

The Innova Crysta Leadership Edition is only available with the BS6-compliant 2.4-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that makes 150hp and 343Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Neither the 6-speed automatic, nor the 2.7-litre petrol engine is offered with the Leadership Edition.
