Rolls-Royce has announced a 30 percent rise in sales in the first six months of 2014. Sales of Rolls-Royce have been bolstered by high demand for the Phantom, Ghost and Wraith models in Europe, the manufacturer has said.

Rolls-Royce has said that demand in Europe was particularly strong with a 60 percent rise in sales. While sales in Asia Pacific region were up by 40 percent, the US and Chinese markets have also recorded a double-digit rise in sale. Sales in the Middle East were up by 30 percent. Germany was also a major contributor to sales.

The carmaker has said that along with standard sales, the number of cars being modified through its bespoke service is also running at record levels.

The firm is currently on par with its sales target in 2014. Commenting on the occasion, company boss Rorsten Müller-Ötvös said: "This is an excellent half-year result and demonstrates the continued confidence that our customers have in our company and our fine cars."

Rolls-Royce sold record number of cars in 2013 too when it sold 3,650 cars in the year.
