    MapMyIndia launches emergency response system

    MapmyIndia has launched Mappls, an integrated GIS and GPS enterprise solution division dedicated to addressing key challenges faced by Indian government agencies and private sector corporates. Using MapmyIndia’s services, authorities can rapidly respond to incidents of crime, emergencies and acts of terrorism. It can be deployed by the police, fire department, ambulances, homeland security, counter-terrorism forces, defence personnel, and disaster management agencies.

    This package combines five of MapmyIndia’s elements – map data, computer-aided dispatch software, GPS tracking hardware, GPS navigation devices, seamless and intelligent systems integration including CCTV surveillance.
