Hyundai announces price hike effective Oct 1

Hyundai motor India has announced a price hike on its models. This price hike will be effective from October 1st 2013.

The price hike will be in the range of Rs 4,000 to Rs 20,000 across the range except the newly launched Grand i10 hatchback which is not a part of the price hike.

“The rupee depreciation and inflationary trends have impacted our input costs. We have been absorbing most of the costs but now we are compelled to consider the price increase,” said Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP – Sales and Marketing, HMIL.
