BMW is gunning for the S-class throne with its latest 7-series. The Bavarian carmaker will continue its onslaught on the super-luxury segment with two limited-run ‘Solitaire’ and ‘Master Class’ Editions of the 7-series.
Both special-edition variants will be based on the 750xDrive, and hence come powered by a 445bhp 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. Built by BMW’s ‘Individual’ personalisation programme, the Solitaire edition will be limited to six models, the Master Class edition will be a single model.
The cars can be had in two special colours – Metallic Black Gold and Metallic Solitaire White. However, the highlight of the cars will be their interiors, which will be clad in Alcantara and fine leather. The rear seats get tulip sparkling wine glasses stowed away in a cooled bar compartment in the centre console. To add more bling, there’s also the option of having five diamond inserts in the interior trims on the dashboard and doors.
