Best coupes under Rs 1 crore in India

    5. Mercedes-AMG C 43 Coupé                   7/10

Attractive on the outside, the C 43 is also inviting on the inside thanks to a plush, feature-rich and tech-heavy interior. A rear-wheel-biased all-wheel-drive system makes it relatively easy to exploit the 3.0-litre V6 engine’s 390hp. It’s not an out-and-out sportscar but think of the Mercedes-AMG C 43 as a sprinter in a business suit and you’ll understand what it’s all about.

    4. Jaguar F-Type 2.0                 8/10

Jaguar’s quintessential two-door, two-seat sportscar looks downright sexy. Its 300hp, 2.0-litre engine is strong and sounds really good for a four-pot unit. Sure, this version isn’t as entertaining as the V8 Jaguar F-Types but the again, it also costs less than a half of what they do. If only the Jag’s interior was as special as its exterior.
    Jaguar F-Type 2.0 prices: Rs 90.93-93.67 lakh

    3. Ford Mustang          8/10

The iconic Ford Mustang is full of personality and is the most affordable V8-engined model in India. While the Ford may not be a precision tool, it will make long distances seem like little work. It’s a larger cars than the others too – if that’s important to you. Do note, though, a facelift is due to launch soon.
Ford Mustang price: Rs 74.62 lakh

    2. BMW M2 Competition             9/10

It may be the smallest M car on sale in India, but the BMW M2 Competition retains the qualities that typifies BMW’s sports line. The M2 Competition is fun to drive and offers the most bang for your buck with its 410hp, 3.0-litre engine lifted from the M3 and M4 (albeit in a lower tune). If anything, the M2 doesn’t sound as special as a straight-six BMW should.
BMW M2 Competition price: Rs 79.90 lakh

    1. Porsche 718 Cayman                      9/10

The only mid-engined car here, Porsche’s 718 Cayman is the most focused model on this list, yet still offers the best balance between everyday usability and a track-day tool. Whether on track or off it, you’ll be sold on the Cayman’s sensational handling. Performance is strong but the 300hp, 2.0-litre flat-four isn’t as evocative as the flat-six of old.
Porsche 718 Cayman price: Rs 85.95 lakh
