Autocar India August 2017 issue on stands now

Autocar India’s August 2017 issue, now on stands, brings you the latest on Tata’s take on the compact SUV, the Nexon, a luxury diesel shootout between the new 5-series and its rivals, a drive of the Ferrari 812 Superfast along with loads of news and reviews. Here are the highlights of the month.

    Tata Nexon
Tata’s Maruti Vitara Brezza rival is all set to hit showrooms soon. We got hold of one before anyone else to tell you what this radical looking SUV is all about.

    New BMW 5-series
Besides road-testing the new 5’s diesel variants, we have compared them with their rivals. We put the 520d head to head with the new E-class, the S90 and the XF to find out which one is the best. Plus, the 530d M Sport vs E 350d battle brings you our luxury sports sedan winner.

    Ferrari 812 Superfast
The successor to the F12berlinetta, it’s got an 800hp, naturally aspirated V12 under the hood, which alone should justify its name. But, there’s a lot more to it than sheer pace.

    New Audi A8
The BMW 7-series and the Mercedes-Benz S-class will see a new, tech-loaded rival in Audi’s latest A8. The limousine also gives a glimpse of a driver-less future. We bring you a first look.

    Volkswagen Tiguan vs. Hyundai Tucson

These two premium SUVs are similar in size and capability. Which begs the question, should you pay a Rs 6 lakh premium over the Hyundai for the Volkswagen?

    Self-driving Celerio
In an exclusive, we tell you about a humble Maruti Celerio that a small start-up has converted into a car that drives itself.

    Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled
The Desert Sled is the Scrambler made off-road ready. It’s got beefed-up mechanicals, raised suspension and kit that makes it better for the rough stuff. We took it out for a spin.
