    Arvind Saxena to lead General Motors India

    Arvind Saxena has more than two decades of experience in sales, marketing and management with several Indian and global automakers.

    General Motors has announced the appointment of Arvind Saxena as the new president and managing director of GM India, with effect from March 1, 2014. He will succeed Lowell Paddock who is moving to GM international operations as vice president of planning and programme management.
     
    Arvind Saxena has more than two decades of experience in sales, marketing and management with several Indian and global automakers including the likes of the VW Group, Bajaj Auto and Fiat India, among others.

GM is committed to India and with Arvind’s leadership, we look forward to recognising the long-term growth potential of the market,” said Stefan Jacoby, GM executive vice president and president, GM international operations.
