The 100th edition of the Mahindra Great Escape was recently concluded at Rajasthan. The event which started 16 years ago, has today become one of the most anticipated off-roading fiestas in India, with over 35 events held last year itself.

The event was held at the Manvar Desert Camp near Jodhpur with over 65 Mahindra SUVs taking part including the Thar, Bolero, Scorpio and Scorpio Getaway. The course was designed by Great Escape veteran Naresh Bhosle and Thar brand manager Vinod Nookala. It spanned over 40km of desert, with markings at regular intervals.

Pawan Goenka, president automotive and farm equipment sector, Mahindra and Mahindra, said, “We were delighted to host the 100thedition of the Annual Great Escape at Manvar. Rajasthan has been a very popular destination among off-roading enthusiasts not only for its terrain but also to show our customers the tough and enduring nature of Mahindra vehicles. Over the years, the Great Escape has developed a reputation as one of India’s most thrilling off-road events and this year’s edition was no different as it put both man and machine to test”.
