A mildly refreshed Mobilio will come to India later this year; to get new interiors and minor styling tweaks.
Honda will bring a mildly refreshed version of the Mobilio MPV to our market later this year. The new Mobilio has been recently launched in Indonesia and the Indian version is expected to receive the same updates.
On the outside, the updated Mobilio gets chrome highlights on the front bumper and new-design alloy wheels. On the inside, it gets a new dashboard and more features across variants.
As seen in the updated Amaze, the dashboard will be replaced by an all-new unit borrowed from the upcoming Honda BR-V SUV. While the colour scheme continues to be dual-tone, most of the parts on the dashboard are all-new. The top-spec Mobilio RS trim is likely to get an all-black theme.
The air-con vents are now rectangular units set high on the dashboard while the centre console is dominated by a touchscreen infotainment system display that also acts as a display for the new rear-view camera. The instrument cluster is also all new with a new three-pod setup. The steering, however, remains the same Brio-derived unit.
The car's air-conditioning system has also been updated now with auto climate control function and the older knobs replaced by sleeker buttons; the space freed-up underneath the unit is now used as a cubby hole.
Mechanically, the car remains unchanged.
A company source has confirmed to us that the updated Mobilio will be coming to India later this year after the launch of the BR-V SUV.
The car now also gets new air-con controls along with automatic climate control with the older knobs replaced by a sleeker button operated unit with the freed-up space underneath being used as a cubby hole.
On the exterior the updated Mobilio gets the addition of chrome highlights on the front bumper and new design alloy wheels. Mechanically, the car remains unchanged. Expect Honda to launch an updated Mobilio in India later this year.
