The Tokyo motor show is known to play host to a stunning display of radically styled concept cars and new designs from automakers from around the world. The motor show, to be held from October 29 to November 8, will see the debut of new and radical concepts from manufacturers such as Suzuki, Toyota and Nissan along with production cars from companies like Lexus. Also present at the event will be major global manufacturers from Europe such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Land Rover and Volkswagen.
Here are some of the concepts and production cars debuting at the motor show:

Mazda rotary concept: Mazda will be showcasing a new conceptual sports car powered by its rotary engine. The concept could become the successor to the current RX-8.
Mitsubishi eX concept: Set to showcase Mitsubishi’s EV technology, the eX concept could preview a future all-electric version of the ASX crossover or an all new model positioned either above or below the crossover.
Nissan Teatro for Dayz: Nissan’s latest concept is designed to be a ‘clean canvas’ for digital sharing and features a customisable digital interior.
Subaru Impreza: Subaru will be showcasing the conceptual version of the new Impreza set to launch internationally in 2016. The new car will usher in a new standardised platform for all Imprezas, while also retaining a conventional hatchback shape.

Suzuki Air Triser: Another concept being showcased by Suzuki is the Air Triser compact mini-van concept. The concept features three rows of seating with a configurable cabin with the seats being able to face each other or form a sofa. The concept also features a display on one of the B-pillars that can play multimedia content.
Suzuki Mighty Deck: Suzuki will be showcasing a mini-car concept called the Mighty Deck. The car features a retractable canvas roof and an adjustable open rear deck.

Toyota FCV Plus: Toyota will be showcasing its hydrogen fuel-cell concept, the FCV Plus. The concept is expected to be capable of sharing its electricity with local infrastructure as well as function as a moveable generator by using an external hydrogen source.
Toyota S-FR: The S-FR concept previews an entry-level sports car that will slot in below the GT86 in the company’s global line-up and is likely to take on the Fiat 124 and the Mazda MX-5.
