Rolls-Royce has launched the Ghost Series II in India at Rs 4.5 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The car made its first public appearance at the Geneva motor show earlier this year.

Changes on the outside include refreshed headlights with daytime-running lights, restyled bumpers, a new bonnet and new tail-lights. The air intakes upfront get some chrome surrounds. There are also new paint shades and alloys to choose from.

Moving on to the inside, the new seats get improved adjustability and heating options. Tweaked instruments and new trims are another addition on the Ghost Series II, as are the two new wood veneers. The new, upgraded infotainment system works in sync with the on-board Wi-Fi and gets a high-resolution 10.2-inch multimedia screen. The infotainment can be operated with a touchpad controller.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II continues to be powered by the huge 6.6-litre V12 unit that churns out 563bhp and a train-like 79.5kgm of torque. The engine is coupled to an eight-speed navigation-guided transmission that selects the gears based on the terrain up ahead.
