Ford has unveiled the new Endeavour which is expected to go on sale globally in 2015. The Endeavour, also known as the Everest in some international markets, was first shown in concept form in 2013. Some of the markets for the new Endeavour include India, China, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

Cosmetically, the new Endeavour retains pretty much everything seen on the concept, save a different design for the alloys. Prominent design elements include LED daytime running lights, aluminum front & rear scuff plates and a large chrome-heavy hexagonal grille. On the inside, it gets an eight-inch touchscreen for Ford’s new SYNC2 infotainment system.

It also gets an array of safety and assistance systems like hill start assist, assist to control ascent, descent and curve when on a hill, a warning system for lane departure, a system to indicate blind spots, adaptive cruise control and ESP.

Speaking of the mechanicals, when the Endeavour makes its way to India, it will continue to use the new ladder frame chassis with a seven-seat layout, and is expected to be powered by 2.2-litre and 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engines.
