The Volkswagen ID Crozz, which was first displayed at the auto show in Shanghai, has now been refreshed for the Frankfurt motor show. The teaser video shows that Volkswagen has opted to go for a different colour for the Crozz. The car has been given more detailed LED headlights – as opposed to the headlights on previous ID concepts – and an illuminated centre bar similar to that on the Skoda Vision E concept.

The refreshed Crozz features a black roof, redesigned wheels and changes to the bonnet and the front fenders. We expect Volkswagen to release another teaser of the car’s new rear-end styling prior to its second outing at Frankfurt. Interestingly, the company says that this is a more production-ready Crozz.

In terms of development, the Crozz has had an almost identical path to the Skoda Vision E, which has also been similarly tweaked for the Frankfurt motor show. Both, the Vision E and the Crozz, were first revealed at Shanghai and are scheduled for production at the end of the decade.

In terms of performance, the updated ID Crozz and the Skoda Vision E both have a 306hp output, a 83kWh battery pack, and a 0-100kph time of 6.0sec. Both cars are also expected to have an impressive range of around 500km.
