The 108th Mahindra Great Escape was organised recently in Gurgaon in association with MAXXIS Tyres. Over 40 vehicles from Noida, Delhi and other neighbouring areas participated in the rally which was flagged off from Fortune Park Boulevard, Chattarpur. Participants completed the challenging course in their vehicles ranging from Boleros, Scorpios and Thar 4x4s.
The Great Escape is organized under the Mahindra Adventure umbrella brand with the intention of encouraging off-roading culture and helping owners explore the capabilities of their Mahindra SUVs. At each Great Escape, participants get to test their driving skills while negotiating the specially charted course that comprises of numerous obstacles across varied terrain.
At every Great Escape, the winner of the off-roading competition gets to participate in the ‘Off-Road Trophy’ championship which is held pan India. The Mahindra Great Escape winners from the Chandigarh, Sakleshpur, Kottayam, Lonavala, Goa, Chandigarh and Gurgaon events compete against each other for the trophy at the finals.
