Cementing its entry into the Uttar Pradesh (UP) market, Isuzu has inaugurated its first dealership in Noida. Fahrenheit Isuzu aims to strengthen the carmaker's presence in what the brand claims is its “largest consumer base of the country”. The dealership facility spans across 14,000 sq ft, and offers Isuzu’s MU-7 SUV and its D-Max range of pickup trucks to the prospective market around western UP and NCR.
With UP contributing approximately 15 percent of the total automobile sales in India, and having a strong background of commercial and agro-based activities, Isuzu hopes to make good of its expansion strategy in North India.
Back in May this year, Isuzu opened a new dealership in Delhi marking its entry into North India. To strengthen its reach in North India, Isuzu plans to open outlets in Gurgaon, Jaipur and Punjab by March 2015. Isuzu also has plans to open 60 outlets across India by end of 2015-16. Currently, Isuzu has dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Madurai, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Cochin.
