Hyundai Vision G Coupe Concept unveiled

The concept is expected to be a precursor to future premium models; to be showcased at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Hyundai has revealed its latest concept in the form of the Vision G Coupe. Showcased at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the concept car is expected to become the precursor to future premium offerings from the Korean brand.

At the front, the Vision G Concept gets a prominent hexagonal grille along with a heavily sculpted bumper with a brushed aluminium trim, sleek headlamps and an elongated bonnet with prominent creases wearing the Genesis badge. On the flanks, the concept gets a high beltline along with streamlined wing mirrors and large dual-spoke design alloy wheels. At the back, the boot gets prominent creases along with an integrated spoiler with chrome garnish. The tail-lamps are sleek single-piece units seen on either side of the boot lid. The exhausts are incorporated into the rear bumper.

The interior of the concept gets leather upholstery with wood, chrome, brushed aluminium and gold inserts all across the cabin.

About the performance of the Vision G Concept, Hyundai only revealed that it is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine pumping out around 513bhp and 52.95kgm of torque.

The Vision G Concept Coupe will be showcased at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 16, 2015.
