Honda will use India as a platform for a global premiere. According to Honda, the new crossover concept is called the Vision XS-1 and is a study that blends elements of future crossover MPVs.

The concept, at its core, has two primary objectives - maximum utilisation of space and maintaining a sporty profile. Honda is the acknowledged master of space utilisation; as anyone who has ever sat in a Honda Jazz or a Honda Brio can vouch for. Honda manages to pack its mechanical components tighter than anybody else, it’s all part of its man-maximum-machine-minimum philosophy. What will be really interesting to see, however, is how Honda’s designers will clothe this very utilitarian profile in a sporty and aggressive way.

Honda will also showcase the new Honda Mobilio MPV and new Honda Jazz in India for the first time. The new Honda NSX concept car and the new Honda Accord Hybrid will also be on display at Honda’s stall at the upcoming Auto Expo 2014.  Honda will not bring the Vezel SUV at the Auto Expo.

The Japanese carmaker will also showcase the recently-launched Honda City sedan, the Honda Brio hatchback, the Honda Amaze compact sedan and the Honda CR-V SUV at the Auto Expo 2014.
