BMW launches M Performance Training programme in india

Event to enable car enthusiasts to test the carmaker’s M model cars and challenge their driving skills.

BMW has launched its M Performance Training programme in India. The full-day event is to take place on renowned race tracks in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai and Aamby Valley.
 
The M Performance Training programme is a specially designed event that will give participants the chance to get behind the wheel of BMW’s M model cars, including the M3 sedan, M4 coupe, M5 sedan, M6 Gran Coupe, X5 M, and the X6 M. Additionally, seasoned BMW certified trainers and instructors will also help participants further hone their driving skills. The programme will see participants tackle a number of challenges such as cornering, high-speed straights and dramatic changes in elevation.
 
Speaking about the programme, Frank Schloeder, (Act.) president, BMW Group India said, “A machine is only as good as the person controlling it. This philosophy defines the fundamentals of ‘BMW M Performance Training’. Seasoned BMW certified trainers and instructors will help drivers get maximum driving pleasure out of their cars. We are delighted to bring this exclusive programme for car enthusiasts in India enabling them to cut a good figure on the racetrack, so they can handle whatever test the road throws at them.” 
 
The first leg of the programme was held at the Taneja Aerospace and Aviation in Bengaluru on July 31, 2016.

  • ·         Madras Motor Sports Race Track, Chennai: September 21-22, 2016
  • ·         Aamby Valley City, Amby Valley: October 19-20, 2016
