Yamaha Motor India Sales, a sister concern of India Yamaha Motor, on February 19th 2013, conducted its Yamaha Female Riding Training Program at the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune.

The training program saw over 80 female students taking part, eager to learn the ropes of riding an automatic scooter and getting a riding license. Yamaha took this opportunity to explain key features and benefits of its 113cc Ray scooter and increase its customer base. Yamaha has reached out to female riders in Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune this year with its training camps, and is now targeting smaller cities and towns.

Yamaha is endorsing more women-specific events to further enhance the Ray’s brand image.
