Bengaluru-based start up Simple Energy has begun deliveries of its One electric scooter with 15 units being handed over at the inaugural event. The company claims it has currently amassed more than 1 lakh bookings.

    1. Simple One has highest IDC range, heaviest e-scooter
    2. Company to expand presence throughout the country gradually

Deliveries of the One commenced in Bengaluru and the company delivered the e-scooters based on the priority of pre-bookings it received. A couple of weeks ago, the company finally launched the production-spec One electric scooter and it's quite different from the pre-production e-scooter we rode over a year ago. Simple Energy claims that it will expand its presence throughout the country to ‘40-50 cities via 160-180 retail stores’.

“We are elated to commence deliveries of the Simple ONE, starting with customers in Bengaluru," said Mr Suhas Rajkumar, founder and CEO, Simple Energy. “We are confident that we will be successful in creating a delightful ownership experience and believe that Simple One will revolutionise the segment by creating a greener future."
