    The IBW Biker Build Off finals will be held in February 2016; five finalists to showcase creations at the event.

    IBW Biker Build Off 2016 finals being held in Goa

    India Bike Week has become a very popular destination for bikers to ride to every year. Held in February, the festival brings together bikers of different brands, leanings, and speeds to Goa for a grand get together. The event is a mash up of motorcycle related activities and one of the most popular events there  is the Biker Build Off.

    Preparation for IBW Biker Build off started in November with 16 entries being received.  The entries provided complete bike sketches, 3d renderings or Auto Cad designs along with a a full write up on the bikes. Based on this the judging panel shortlisted the final five who now have to get busy with the ttask of turning their concepts into reality and bring them down to Goa. If you are coming down to IBW look out for these five finalists:

    1.       Holkar Industries – Aurangabad (Chetan Holkar)

    2.       Legacy Customs – Belgaum (Faizan Saith)

    3.       Inline 3 – Chandigarh (Aseem Singh Pawar)

    4.       Dochaki Designs – Pune (Anupam Parihar)

    5.       R&G Customs – Mumbai (Raju and Ganesh Kotain)

    IN Goa, the jury panel will judgethe bikes on the basis of their styling, technical soundness and innovation. Real world usability and performance matters too!

    The judging panel for the finals is comprised of Arjun Raina , a noted custom bike builder from Dehradun, Anthony Ollukaran – one of Mumbai’s most renowned motorcycle tuners, Reza Hussain  - winner of IBW BBO2015, and Kartikeya Singhee of Autocar India. Two more judges that will be announced at Goa itself. After the judging is done and points tallied the winner will be crowned champ right at the main stage at IBW!  You can almost here the welding torches lighting up!
