    HMSI’s marketing chief quits

     

    Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has announced that senior board member N K Rattan has resigned as Vice President – Sales and Marketing. Rattan joined HMSI as head sales in August, 2000 and was responsible for setting up vital sales and marketing operations in domestic and international markets. During his tenure, he led HMSI to the number three position in India.

    “Rattan has made countless contributions to the momentous journey of HMSI in the past decade. His support and leadership has indeed been highly meritorious throughout his journey at HMSI,” said Keita Muramatsu, President and CEO, HMSI.  

    Speaking on this development, Rattan said, “I have enjoyed every moment of my association with Honda, which has widened my horizon. The success we have enjoyed has been largely possible thanks to the consistent effort of the entire team and continued support by the management. I now look forward to new accomplishments and challenges.”
