    Ducati appoints new heads

Earlier this year, we saw Ducati appoint its new CEO, Claudio Domenicali, and now the iconic Italian motorcycle manufacturer has done the same for its Sales and Marketing and Motorcycle-Related Products departments. Cristiano Silei, who was earlier vice president, Sales, has now taken over as vice president, Sales and Marketing. On the spares, accessories and apparel side of Ducati’s business, Diego Sgorbati has been appointed as director of Motorcycle Related Products, who will also look into Licensed Products and Services. Within this aspect of the business, Alessandro Cicognani has moved up to director of Licensing and Corporate Partnerships from his previous role of Head of Sponsorship.

Ducati recently launched the Monster 1200 and 1200S, 899 Panigale and 1199 Superleggera at the 71st EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, giving its loyalists and other motorcycle aficionados the world over much to look forward to in the year 2014.
