It's common knowledge at this point that Ather is working on a more practical electric scooter called the Rizta. Now, the company’s co-founder and CEO, Tarun Mehta, has put an image of the Rizta’s seat next to the seat of an Ola S1 electric scooter, and its evident that the Rizta is going to be a much more spacious offering.

The Rizta’s seat has a slight step up for the pillion and while it is quite wide, it becomes quite narrow where the rider would sit. This should enable shorter riders to get their feet on the ground without too much trouble.

If this seat is any indication of the Rizta’s dimensions, then the final product should be quite long and wide itself, addressing the issue that has plagued the sporty Ather 450 lineup from the very beginning – space.
