Mumbai-based custom bike maker, Vardenchi has revealed a sketch that illustrates what its upcoming premium motorcycle, to be called T5, will look like. The Vardenchi-designed bike is built around a Moto Morini-sourced 1187cc V-twin engine and as is quite evident, the bike looks very different from the bike maker’s other Royal Enfield-derived motorcycles. In a first for Vardenchi, the T5 also uses a trellis frame that seems to complement the rest of the bike’s more classic cruiser design surprisingly well. A projector headlamp, wide handlebar and shapely fuel tank are other elements clearly visible in the sketches.  Some of the other features of note on the T5 would be its digital instruments, Marzocchi front inverted telescopic forks, Ohlins monoshock, Brembo disc brakes, twin exhaust canisters (one on each side of the underbelly) and of course, that Vardenchi-typical 200mm rear tyre. The production version of the T5 will be available with alloy wheels and spoked wheels as an option.

Vardenchi will reveal the T5 at the Auto Expo and will start sales later in the year. The bike will be manufactured at Vardenchi’s manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai and will be sold through exclusive dealers in India and also through Vardenchi’s partner Moto Morini’s distribution network in Europe. Vardenchi hasn’t revealed prices just yet but we can confirm that the T5 won’t come cheap and would be priced in the region of Rs 16 lakh. The T5 will be expensive but it will buy you a certain exclusivity even a Harley-Davidson can’t match.
