Royal Enfield has increased prices of all of its motorcycles in its India line-up. The new prices have been applicable since August 31, 2016.

The marginal hike sees the price of the recently launched Himalayan increase by Rs 1,100. The model, powered by an all-new four-stroke, 411cc, two-valve, long-stroke, air-cooled and carburetted engine that makes around 24.83hp, marked the company's entry into the adventure bike segment. Meanwhile, the Classic 500 Chrome sees the maximum increase of Rs 3,600.

This is Royal Enfield's second price hike in just a year. The company hasn’t revealed the reason behind this latest price hike, it can be attributed to increasing material and production costs.
