Mahindra first showed their premium Mojo motorcycle way back in 2010. After spending a lot of time on research and development improving the bike, Mahindra finally do seem ready to launch the Mojo, by around the end of September 2015.

The Mahindra Mojo has undergone a raft of upgrades since the first time it was unveiled. The last time we saw the upcoming new Mahindra, the front had unique headlights with twin lamps, and LED daytime running lamps. The high handlebars sported bar-end weights and the tank was large looking. The radiator shrouds and an engine cowl underneath were also present. The rear had a neat mudguard finished in red, with an LED tail light on top.

Mahindra should launch the Mojo with a 292cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine. Its four-valve engine should make in the region of 25.8bhp of maximum power, with peak torque of about 2.5kgm.

The Mahindra Mojo will use upside down front forks and a monoshock coupled to its swingarm. Judging from the high raised handlebar and centre-set footrests, the Mojo can be expected to offer an upright, comfortable riding stance.

Mahindra has been testing the motorcycle extensively, and there have been quite a few sightings on Indian streets. What we are looking forward to, is seeing the new Mojo in showrooms, and swinging a leg over one for a ride sometime soon.
