Indian Cricket Team captain, MS Dhoni inaugurated a new biking festival, the Bike Festival of India (BFI), close on the heels of the much awaited India Bike Week which will flag off next week. Dhoni also unveiled a logo for the biking festival.
BFI is a tie up between Event Capital, an event management subsidiary of Laqshya Media Group and Rhiti Sports, a celebrity and sponsorship management company.
BFI will set stage as a new platform for biking enthusiasts to come together and share their passion for biking. The event will also promote the importance of ‘safe biking’. The event will kick-off with
a cross-country promotional bike ride in February, covering every state in the country which is likely to take about a month. The organisers are also looking to create a Guinness World Record with the ride. Biking enthusiasts can also expect a racing championship at the Buddh International Circuit in March, followed by a dirt bike race and a rally championship. The Bike Festival of India, will be held in October this year.
