    Datsun has revealed the specifications of its upcoming Go+ MPV. The Go+ is Datsun's second model, a seven-seat MPV which was unveiled earlier and will compete with the likes of Honda's much-anticipated Brio-based compact MPV, the Mobilio, in India.

    The Go+ will have a wheelbase measuring 2450mm, same as in the hatchback and a length of 3995mm. It will have a width of 1635mm and a height of 1500mm. The Go+ will feature a monocoque chassis with an impressively light kerb weight of just 794kg. Once launched, it will be offered in a choice of reddish gold, white solid, silver metallic, grey metallic and black solid colours.

    The Datsun Go+ compact MPV from will be powered by a 1198cc, DOHC three-cylinder, in-line, 12-valve petrol motor mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The engine is good for a maximum power output of 67bhp and a maximum torque of 10.6kgm. It will get ventilated disc brakes up front and drum brakes at the rear. It will run on 13-inch steel rims fitted to 155/70 section tyres.
