    It's the end of the year and car dealers are eager to clear out stocks of old models from their inventories. This is one of the best times to buy a car as you can avail of great discounts and deals. Here's a look at some of the best offers in the market right now.

    Audi
     

    Audi is offering up to Rs 2 lakh discount on the Q7 diesel luxury SUV. The Audi Q7 competes with the likes of the new Mercedes-Benz GL-class and Land Rover Discovery.  The Audi Q5 SUV is also being offered with a discount of up to Rs 5 lakh on select models. The Q5 competes with the likes of the Land Rover Freelander and BMW X3 SUV. Audi’s smallest SUV, the Q3, is being offered at a discount of upto Rs 2 lakh. This discount is not available on the manual gearbox-equipped Audi Q3 S SUV. The Audi A8 L full-size luxury saloon is also being offered on a discount of upto Rs 15-20 lakh depending on the variant. The A8 L will get a minor styling update soon which will go on sale in India next year. The A8 L competes with the likes of the BMW 7-series and Mercedes S-class.

    BMW
     

    BMW is offering a discount of upto Rs 7 lakh on the unsold stock of pre-facelift 5-series saloon. The 5-series is well known for its refinement, interior comfort and space and is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. BMW’s 3-series luxury saloon is also available with a discount of Rs 3-3.5 lakh, depending on the variant.

    Discounts are also available on BMW’s range of luxury SUVs. The smallest of the lot, the X1 is available with a discount of upto Rs 3 lakh, depending on variant. The mid-size BMW X3 SUV is on a discount of upto Rs 3.5 lakh. It competes with the likes of the Land Rover Freelander and Audi Q5 SUV.

    Mercedes-Benz
     

    Mercedes is offering a discount of Rs 1-1.5 lakh on the A-class premium luxury hatchback. The A-class is currently the most affordable Mercedes sold in India. The A-class is available in the A180 sport petrol and A180 CDI Style diesel guise. The prime competitor of the Mercedes A-class is the BMW 1-series hatchback. Mercedes is also offering a similar discount on the B-class.

    The Mercedes C-class saloon is being offered with a discount of Rs 3.5 - 5 lakh depending on variant. The C-class is available with a range of petrol and diesel engine options.     Maruti

    Maruti is offering a discount of around Rs 35,000 on the now-discontinued Estilo hatchback. There is also an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 on offer, adding up to a benefit to Rs 65,000. The Maruti Wagon R is also available with a discount of upto Rs 53,000 on all variants excluding the Wagon R Stingray.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Hyundai

    Hyundai is offering upto Rs 40,000 discount on select Elantra saloon variants. The Elantra competes with the likes of the new Skoda Octavia, Volkswagen Jetta and Toyota Corolla and is available in petrol and diesel engine guises with choices of automatic as well as manual gearboxes. The Hyundai Sonata is also available with a discount of around Rs 1-1.5 lakh.     Mahindra SsangYong

    Mahindra’s SsangYong Rexton SUV is available with a discount of upto Rs 50,000. The Rexton is powered by a 2.7-litre diesel engine and it competes with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport as well as Isuzu MU-7 SUV.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Toyota

    Toyota is offering upto Rs 40,000 discount on the new Camry petrol. The Camry is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. The Camry competes with the likes of the Honda Accord and Skoda Superb as well as Hyundai Sonata.

    Toyota is also offering upto Rs 50,000 discount on the Corolla Altis saloon.     Volkswagen

     

    Volkswagen is offering Rs 1 lakh discount on the Jetta saloon. The Jetta recently received a facelift with updates such as LED daytime-running lights and climate control. It competes with the likes of the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Altis and Hyundai Elantra.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Tata Motors

    On the Indigo Manza, Tata is offering a cash discount of Rs 10,000. There is also a bonus of Rs 20,000 for exchanging your petrol car and Rs 40,000 for exchanging your diesel car to be availed of.

    The Indica Vista has a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and a exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 for diesel car owners and Rs 40,000 for petrol car owners.

    The Tata Aria is on sale with a discount of Rs 1,00,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 for the top end variant. The base variant has a cash discount of Rs 50,000. 
    The Tata Sumo Gold is available with a cash discount of Rs 20,000. There is an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 for petrol car owners and Rs 20,000 for diesel car owners. 
    The Tata Nano is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bous of Rs 5,000 for two-wheeler owners and Rs 5,000 for car owners. 
    The Tata Indica eV2 is available wih a discount of Rs 10,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 for diesel car owners and Rs 25,000 for petrol car owners. 
    The Indigo eCS is being sold with a cash discount of Rs 15,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 for petrol car owners and Rs 15,000 for diesel car owners.

     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Mahindra
     
    On the Mahindra XUV500, there are benefits on offer worth upto Rs 70,000 which include discounts like exchange and loyalty bonus, consumer and corporate discounts. The majority discounts are available on its top variant the W8 AWD. The lowest variant W4 which has been launched recently is being offered with a exchange bonus and free insurance. 
    Its entry level SUV Bolero is also available with a discount of Rs 30,000 and competes against the Tata Sumo Gold. Its compact SUV Quanto is being offered with discounts up to Rs 56,000 and competes against the Premier Rio. The MPV Xylo is available with discounts up to Rs 78,000 and competes against the Nissan Evalia, Ashok Leyland Stile, Chevrolet Enjoy, Maruti Suzuki's Ertiga and Toyota Innova. The rugged Scorpio and its sedan Verito are being offered with a discount in the range of Rs 55,000.
