    Bentley Bentayga interior revealed

Bentley has launched a video that reveals most of the new Bentayga’s interior. The exterior of the model has been pictured many times during its testing phase. The Bentayga which is set to be revealed later this year, is said to be a combination of “pinnacle luxury and performance.”

The latest video reveals that the Bentayga will come with a touch-sensitive driving mode selector. The driver’s display seen in the video indicates that the Bentayga’s speedometer could end at 300kmph. It makes sense because Bentley bosses were said to have been aiming for an ambitious 321kmph target.

The video also reveals an advanced night-view assistance package, as well as a multi-function instrument cluster display which appears to be configurable.

The company's CEO and chairman , Wolfgang Dürheimer told our sister publication AutocarUK that the new “ultra-luxury” SUV is in its final test phase, and the model will be available in different engine variants such as, a W12, a V8 and a plug-in hybrid.

He revealed that the plug-in hybrid versions are capable of doing 30 miles on battery power alone, to cope with the future zero-emissions legislation in cities. He added, “This will be a very luxurious model, but it will also be very fast and capable. The hybrid versions of the Bentayga are expected in a year.

The Bentley Bentayga was previewed by the EXP-9F concept car at the 2012 Geneva motor show, though rumors of the project go back to 2011. The production Bentayga will bear little resemblance to the concept. The final design of the car has been aerodynamically modified to ensure stability at high speeds. The Bentayga is targeted toward emerging but profitable markets such as China and Russia. Dürheimer also hinted at a smaller Bentley SUV model in the future.
