Toyota has expanded its Innova Crysta line-up with the launch of the new Touring Sport. Priced from Rs 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi, for the petrol manual variant), the Touring Sport offers the option of two colours – a new Wine Red shade and a Superior White – and gets cosmetic tweaks to set it apart from the standard Innova.

Toyota Innova Touring Sport: What's new?

The Touring Sport gets body cladding to give it a meatier look, along with plenty of chrome embellishments across the front, rear and flanks. Additionally, the strip between the tail lamps has been blacked out, and the MPV also gets black alloy wheels. Upfront, the grille gets a new "smoked chrome" finish, along with similar treatment to the headlamp inserts.

The Touring Sport is available only as a seven-seater with captain seats for second row occupants and all-black leather upholstery. In terms of equipment, the Touring Sport is similarly equipped as the top Innova Crysta ZX. This means, you get a touchscreen infotainment system, auto climate control, electric adjust driver seat, LED projector headlamps and cruise control.

On the inside, it gets a unique gauge cluster with red lighting, red stitching on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, seats and console box. The Innova Touring Sport is powered by the same set of engines as the standard car, a 2.7-litre petrol (MT and AT), 2.4-litre diesel (MT) and a 2.8-litre diesel (AT).

The Innova Crysta, which was launched late last year built on the success of its predecessor with sales continuing to remain strong despite the notable difference in pricing. The Innova Crysta has no direct rivals, as MPVs from rival manufacturers sit in lower price brackets.
