Planning to buy a Yamaha FZ-16, and daily running will not exceed 15-20km.

I am planning to buy a Yamaha FZ-16 to ride for fun. My daily use of the new bike will not exceed 15-20km. I am aware of the technical specifications but would like to know more about its handling, braking and fuel economy. My budget is between Rs 70,000-80,000, kindly suggest a better option, if there is any, that fits this budget. Also, I have heard that Yamaha is launching a better looking YZF-R125 model, and if this is correct, I can perhaps wait and increase my budget if you suggest I should. Do you have any further information from Yamaha?

AAA Yes, the Yamaha’s FZ-16 is a good motorcycle that has successfully picked up the baton from the same company’s famous RX 100 performance bike. There is no better overall 150cc bike in India that we can point you towards at this price point. This class-leading motorcycle offers good overall quality, impeccable handling, perfect brakes and fuel-efficiency in the region of an overall 40kpl. Figures achieved by us putting the bike through independent and real-world testing in India are,

City: 41.4kpl
Highway: 46.8kpl

The YZF-R125 remains but a rumour for now.
