GWM Concept H and Vision 2025: The showstoppers at Auto Expo 2020

Featuring new age mobility solutions and intelligent systems, the concepts gave a glimpse of the company's product roadmap.

GWM has made its debut in India at the 2020 Auto Expo with an expansive range and has also announced its grand plans for launching the Haval and GWM EV brands in our market in 2021. However, the automaker also upped the ante at the motor show by revealing two striking concept vehicles. These include the world premiere of the Haval Concept H and India debut of the Vision 2025 SUVs.

Though its production vehicles have generated immense interest among visitors, the two concepts on display have possibly taken the biennial motor show by storm. Striking designs and cutting-edge technologies have resonated with the aspirations of people who are fascinated to see the future roadmap of mobility. Both vehicles are centred on the theme of 'Intelligent Mobility Redefined' and showcase GWM's technological strength in smart, intelligent and autonomous solutions.

Headlining the GWM pavilion is the Concept H, showcased in a stunning hue of blue. It is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle designed to be young and sporty at heart and resonate with millennials who are driving market growth. Envisioned as a global concept model, it reinforces the company's focus on global as well as Indian customers. The big and bold SUV wears a large chrome embellished grille and angular headlamps up front, with T-shaped tail lamps and a sculpted spoiler at the rear completing the look. A modern, tech-laden interior with screens galore is a major source of attention as well.

Vision 2025 SUV is the second showstopper from the brand. It possesses a muscular design with prominent haunches and massive stylish alloy wheels, with slim headlamps and tail lamps giving it a futuristic look. The vehicle is an NGV (Next Generation Vehicle) which highlights Haval's vision for a smart, capable and intelligent vehicle for 2025. The SUV is a culmination of advanced technologies developed in GWM's ten global R&D centres. It features face recognition and next generation 5G in-car infotainment and services. It is also touted to be capable of automated parking and advanced autonomous driving, making it an intelligent vehicle with the ability to think, communicate and completely take over the driving responsibilities. And in a nod towards sustainable mobility, it features a fully electrified powertrain.

The Concept H and Vision 2025 are not only a testament of GWM's prowess, but also an indication of the company's upcoming technologies
