    Entry-level Audis in India

Audi was once the leader with the A3, Q3 and A4. Now, only the A4 and Q3 exist. Is Audi planning to relaunch the Q2 and A3 at sub- Rs 40 lakh prices? Also, is there any remote possibility of Audi bringing in India-specific models at around Rs 20 lakh-30 lakh?

Autocar India says: There is no possibility of the Q2 or A3 coming back as the cost structure of these cars is not suitable for the Indian luxury car market, which favours larger cars. Both the Q2 and A3 had the wrong ‘price-to-size’ ratio, which is why their asking price wasn’t too far away from their Q3 and A4 siblings. As a result, Indian consumers didn’t see value in the Q2 and A3, though they were both great cars to drive.
