I’m a third year college student and I want to upgrade from my trusty Dio that I inherited from my elder brother. My budget is around Rs 1.5 lakh-1.8 lakh and I want a fun, sporty scooter.

Autocar India says: The Yamaha Aerox is the scooter that we’d go for as it fits the bill perfectly. The design is properly sporty and it’ll stand out in your college parking lot among a sea of scooters. The engine is an absolute gem and offers decent efficiency, keeping your pocket money allowance from going into the red. The best part is the performance and handling which will keep you entertained. The trade off is the stiff ride over broken roads. Although, fitting an aftermarket suspension is an option one can consider.

If you want to go down the electric scooter route and home charging is a non-issue, the Ather 450X is the best choice. Its performance is enough to satiate your need for a sporty scooter, while the features list is pretty impressive as well. Not to mention the new colours that have made an already good-looking scooter even better.
