Best powerful diesel saloon within a budget of Rs 50 lakh.

I'm a driving enthusiast, and I'm on  the lookout for a powerful diesel saloon. I have shortlisted the BMW 530d, the Audi A6 3.0TDI and the Jaguar XF-S diesel. My budget is Rs 50 lakh. Whichcar would you recommend? Sarthak Singh via email

AAA: If you are a driving enthusiast, then look no further than the BMW 530d. It has the best performance and the incredibly punchy 3.0-litre diesel makes every drive an absolute delight. The sharp handling and comfortable ride only adds to the 530ds appeal. The Jaguar XF-S too is a great car to drive but it's too expensive becasue its fully imported and hence attracts a high duty. If you are leaning towards the BMW then go for it. Just bear in mind that the rear seat is the worst in this class for sheer comfort and hence not a great place to be.
