Is it alright to up-size tyres?

I own a 2014 Hyundai Verna Fluidic and want to change all its tyres. The original tyre from Hyundai is 195/55 R16, but the ground clearance is very low. Is 195/60 R16 a safe replacement?

AAA You could fit the 195/60 R16 for increased ground clearance. You can also try the 205/55 R16 as an option as well, which would improve the handling as well as solve your ground clearance problem.

Hi, Did you increase your verna with 195/60 R16 tyres? how was the experience? with full 5 members in board are the tyres touching the fenders inside? I'm planning to upsize with similar tyres but only worried about the tyres touching inside on full load? can you share your experience?
