    Engine oil for Hyundai i10

My Hyundai i10 1.2-litre engine has done around 18500km, and I want to change the engine oil. Should I go for synthetic or semi-synthetic engine oil?

AAA Synthetic oil is almost twice as expensive as mineral oil, but doesn’t necessarily come with twice the benefits. Demanding, high-performance engines may benefit to some extent, but for everyone else, manufacturer-recommended mineral oils are the best. 10w40 SM-rated Castrol Magnatec is what Hyundai recommends for engine. If you diligently change your oil every 6000km, your engine will be in fine nick for years to come.
