A good vehicle for hill drives

Which would be a good vehicle for hill drives? I am not comfortable parking my 2009 Mercedes C 200 where there is no security, and a place like Himachal has good resorts, but inadequate parking. So please suggest a nice Indian peppy vehicle with good torque for this kind of a drive.

AAA You’ve not specified your budget, but one can assume you would want a vehicle that is smaller than your Merc. There are several options to choose from, but we would narrow it down to the Ford EcoSport with the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine that has a nice flat torque curve, and being turbocharged, it’s not significantly affected by high altitudes. Also, the EcoSport is compact, has a high clearance and handles really well, which makes it ideal for narrow and congested hill roads.
