Follow usThe Yamaha FZ series began as a sporty commuter in the form of the FZ16 back in 2008, and over the years, the FZ family has evolved into frugal commuters. The latest variant to join the range is the Hybrid, which comes with a splash of new tech and colours. Here are answers to some common questions you might have about this motorcycle.
Things that are exclusive to the Hybrid variant in the FZ family are the ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) and a 4.2-inch colour TFT dash. This display shows the rider information such as incoming calls, weather updates and music info. It also supports turn-by-turn navigation when connected to your smartphone.

With its 13-litre tank, the FZ-S Hybrid is capable of covering well over 500km on a single tank, if ridden sensibly.
The FZ Hybrid is available in two colours – Yamaha Racing blue and Grey with Cyan. The latter even gets Cyan on the alloys. There’s no price difference between the two paint options.
The FZ-S Fi Hybrid is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh. It is a Rs 10,000 increment compared to the FZ-S Fi V4. It rivals the likes of Pulsar N160 (Rs 1.43 lakh) and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Rs 1.40 lakh).
