This month we drive some of the most significant cars of the year – and we may have indulged in some supercar shenanigans as well. The magazine has also been given a facelift – so pick up your copy today to see the new-look Autocar India.

    • SsangYong Rexton – Mahindra is bringing the SsangYong brand to India very soon, so we thought we’d spend some time behind the wheel of what will be its first offering, the Rexton, to see what’s what. Does this monstrous 4x4 have what it takes to pass muster in our SUV-loving market?
    • Maruti Ertiga vs Toyota Innova – The Ertiga is a packaging marvel, able to fit seven people into a footprint not much larger than an SX4’s. But can this hatchback-based MPV really be better than our long-time favourite MPV, the Toyota Innova?
    • The Lamborghini Special – Tearing through the Western Ghats, charging down the expressway, carving up an Italian country road and drifting across an icy lake – all in Lamborghinis. Plus, an interview with Lambo boss Stephan Winkelmann, and the fastest car we’ve ever road tested – the Aventador LP 700-4.
    • Audi Q3 – We’ve been waiting for this one for months now, and let’s just say we weren’t disappointed. Audi’s answer to the BMW X1 is finally here, and we spent a day driving it around the streets of sunny Goa. Read about our first impressions of the most affordable Audi yet.
    • Hyundai Sonata vs Rivals – We drove the new Sonata last month and we loved its blend of stunning looks, powerful engine and excellent value. But, as is the way with Autocar India, it’s not over till it beats its competition. We bring in the Skoda Superb and Honda Accord.
    • Porsche Boxster – The Boxster has always played second fiddle to Porsche’s iconic 911. But not anymore. The latest version of the mid-engined two-seater is very much its own sportscar, and what a sportscar it is! Read our drive to see for yourself.
    • Hyundai i-Gen i20 – Hyundai has given its i20 a very welcome facelift, and it now has a face quite similar to the much loved Verna. Moreover, the i20 was always known for its long equipment list – which has gotten even longer.
    • KTM 200 Duke – A full road test of the very handsome (and very orange) KTM 200 Duke. Built in India by Bajaj, this could be just what the doctor ordered for Indian enthusiasts – we put it through our thorough test procedure to find out.
    • Harley-Davidson Dynas – Harley is now assembling two of its big-twin Dyna-chassis motorcycles in India. We celebrate with a memorable ride of both bikes – the Street Bob and the Super Glide – through the Western Ghats.
    • Motorsport – F1 is back! And we’ve got reports on the exciting first two grands prix – Australia and Malaysia. Plus, a full report of the first MotoGP race, and a very special guest column from Narain Karthikeyan himself.
    • FREE! 16-page booklet – Relive our memorable experiences and the highs and lows of our epic record drive, where we took a Tata Indigo eCS to the four corners of India and back in just 15 days.
