I own a honda city gxi 2004 model which has clocked one lakh km's. The mileage is to be very low.recently on 18-11-09 i got it serviced. on 19-11-09 i have filled a tankful of fuel in Hyderabad and stared to travel to kurnool. i have reset the trip meter to. Kurnool town is 210 km's from hyderabad. i travelled alone driving at high speed (100-140) with ac on. the road was clear and there was little gear changes and braking. The fuel meter has moved very little by the time ireached kurnool. i left kurnool towards ananthapur and after 10 kilometers the total reading was 233 Km's. I filled fuel at a company owned outlet and asked him to fill it, To my surprise i was able to fill 9.5 liters only. I tried to fill some more and the fuel was overflowing. we tried shaking the vehicle and filling more. but we couldnt fill more.
when calculated the average mileage was a stunning 24 kmpl. is it really possible. Then after reaching ananthapur 145 km's the average was 16 kmpl. The road was not good and the average speed was around 60 with lot of gear changes and braking.
Is it really possible to get a mileage of 24 kmpl from a honda city which has run one lakh km's

i dont understand want u mean by bad calculation i am not exagarating its 9.5 liters for 233 km's its little more than 24 kmpl. i had problem with city mileage thats why i was surprised with that mileage
