Right now it is being targeted at the FE conscious customer, which is 99% of India. Which is good for FIAT if it wants to revive its fortunes.

Well true, even when i saw that pic in papers for 2 days i kept seeing it whenever i got time and show my parents that just see this beautiful car..even they agreed but what my father said by pointing out at logo of Fiat that this isnt good enough...He said that because he knews that Fiat's service is or was pathetic and spare parts are too costly..

Hi Guys..update abt my booking of the Linea Diesel Emotion Pack. The dealer has still not delivered the car and says there is an unexpectedly high demand for the Linea and shall deliver the vehicle by the month end.
Wonder if it's a genuine reason, or Fiat back to their all old ways?

The cars on display there were headed to the Taj Hotel, where it seems there is a formal launch this evening. They say only three colours will be launched now, and more available after a month. I clicked a pic on my cell, but strangely am not able to figure out how to upload it here.

The nos to Fortune motors, where I saw the car is 022-65115566/65120109. They should be able to give more details.

Linea has good vfm, its slightly bigger than altis and even civic..it starts from 6 lacs for petrol and 7 lacs for diesel, but Fiat have a tough job in hand to convince people that it's service has improved

One of my uncle was looking for a petrol car in the range of 7 lacs and i recommended Linea, he liked everything about the car except the fiat logo and went for the SX-4 base model instead.

Finally got delivery of my Fiat Linea (Emotion Pack- Diesel). Since I registered it outside octroi limits in Mumbai, I got drove back last nite approx 50kms. I think the car is not underpowered, but for the initial few moments, which is ok. Build quality is superb. The Blue and me works well and I was surprised that it picks up our accent perfectly and faultlessly.
Will post pics soon.

Congrats Cruise. Which color did you opt for? I heard the automatic climate control aint that effective especially during hot day temp. Kindly throw some light in the matter. Also i think the turbo kick comes only after 2000-2500 rpm.
