Well i think this time fiat is serious so they will surely improve their service part..I hope Fiat opens dedicated service centres instead of using Tata as their service partners...Although sales can be continued through tata

Well its true. Spending 9 lacs+ OTR for Linea is not easy. But i guess everyone is just loving Linea as a overall package. Other option is New City where Honda is taking us for a ride with high price. I have owned a Tata & now own a Fiat. Both have disappointed me big time with A.S.S. Thats the reason im thinking twice for Linea.

Also got to see the car in the showroom(Fortune Motors), the Emotion pack variant really impressed..

Congrat's Cruise, I know the feeling; I booked the Accent after the TD with family in tow, got it off the first lot, way back in 1999 on launch. For a long time I had people oggling my car, nice feeling it was. I traded in my M800 then, it was quiet a jump from the M800 to the 'new kid on the block' Accent. Wishing you that the Fiat Linea Emotion gives you many years of joyous and safe driving. Keep us posted, and don't forget the pic's. I hope Fiat move's forward with the good will of member's like Cruise and doesn't squander it like on previous occasion's. Let's hope Linea is 'an era of a new dawn' for fiat in India.

FIAT has invested a lot of money on trying to revive itself in India. They might have done poorly here in the past but that does not mean that they will continue to do so. Once sales of Linea picks up Tata dealers will also start to focus on FIAT service as every body backs a winning horse.

Further FIAT as an company is doing quite well in Europe so they know their business. And an Indian from Hero Honda as CEO, FIAT India will know about the importance of after sales service. There may be few disgruntled customers of Tata Motors but that would be true of any other car company. If Tata's were bad then Tata Motors would have closed down, instead they have bought JLR. After all of millions of Tata trucks and cars running on Indian roads cant run without after sales service.

So I dont think there should be any problems on the service front. I also intend to buy Linea after I return to India before March. However if Honda drops the price of City by 2 lacs, then I will consider City also.
