Good to hear that your problem was solved. It is a good example that Tata-Fiat relationship is working well for Fiat owners.

As far as car care goes, just give the car a good polish once a month and have it washed everyday (not  under direct sunlight). Use Armour All car care products, they are a bit expensive, but well worth it.

So the car is in your name or your brother's? Damn its so confusing. Dont know whether you own a car or kept it for a few days but all your points barring one (plastic quality) are incorrect which shouldnt happen when you are a car owner and so many points are incorrect.
Even when my Linea was brand new with less than 500 kms on ODO it never returned less than 11kmpl with full AC. Speak of now, my MID is showing 15.2 kmpl - want a pic will SHOW IT. I was asking for any pic of MID showing single digit FE's as you claimed but its not possible i guess.

Suspension hard- only your car had it. Maybe tyre pressures were incorrect. If no, then suspension must be faulty.
Dont post pics of owner's manual and insurance etc, am not so desperate to know that you own a Linea or not. If you say so, i believe it though once every 2-3 months you make it hard to believe for me with such posts.

yar youare having such a low sence of humour , I am 19 years old how can I own a car and why are you telling about after 500 kms ,why do you think that my car gives average of below 10 till now and why are you behaving like a cartoon now

I dont know why people keep trolling if they dont have first hand information. Lets move ahead.

I found that the water tank for wipers can accomodate almost 2Ltrs of water :o After filling 1st liter i thought it must be leaking somehere because then when i start filling 2nd liter it showed no sign of getting filled up until i came to emptying the bottle :p I did bent down to check if i poured in liquid  in right place.

The look of linea is wonderfull but the plastic parts are of very poor quality.  Most of the plastic parts of my friends car are either damaged, broken within 6 months of his usage.

No offence writing but feel pity to my friend who is facing such an issue with his linea.

I dont give a damn to whether you are 19 or 90. You were posting in the ownership thread so i thought you are a owner of the car and not a few days driver of that car. You dont post your age with every post

You said Average is a weak point of Linea? Tell me which other owner thinks like you do? Who is cartoon is very clear. See the FE reports of nimesh, cartoos etc. Everyone gets 13-15 in city and if you think thats bad for a 1.4 l engine then may god help you. If you are sad, then you must have been getting below 10 only.

Found first signs of rust under the hood :( its acute rust on nut and areas near by it. Its in top left  corner inside the hood under the black plastic tray which runs at the top edge of hood, there is this vent for water flow out at bottom end of windshield and probably the water has passed from there and landed on the nut which got completely rusted. Will get it changed during first service.

hi guys,
Had my first scratch on the car yesterday.... My mistake only, did not see a scooter parked behind. just nudged it while reversing. thats all, there was a scratch just above 'linea' chrome letters on the boot . Donno whether just 2 put a sticker or another chrome writing such as 'fiat' there. Concorde guys said they will do touch paint, but need 2 show them first. lets see..
First scratch, always feels bad.
This emphasises the need of a gud rear parking sensor for the car. irrespective of however careful u r, sometimes, u miss something, and Murphy's Law takes over...
shall update u all after the touch up job.

@rags_india: it happens at times, dont worry otherwise it will be all over you.

yes, the rear parking sensors should come defualt with cars with more than 4M lenght, it way to hard to guess whats there at back. I have seen good parking sensors for less than 3K and generally they are available for 1.8K to 2.4K and if compaines are sourcing the same, it would not even cost more than 1.5K to, thats a very minimal amount compare two what we are already paying for car.

I might not use many other features like rear window screen, or blue and me playing song on voice command, but for sure reverse parking sensor would have been used more than 5 times in day. I dont think many would click the blue&me button on steering and then would say next, rather he would just click the up button on steering.

Given the curvy look of rear, i found placing those rear sensors would spoil the beauty, futhermore, its not very clear about the voiding guarantee. hence didnt tried it. For me many times its just like 6th sense trying to guage the reverse space.

At times i feel a rotatory sear with ability to turn the seat to rear side along with rest of driving devices, while reverseing would have been a great fun :)

Hi to all guys.. sorry for long absent in this post.
I took a 3 days weekend of Nainital by Linea Mjd. It gave me amazing pickup  on hilly road .mostly I used 3-4 th gear on Ghats and sharp blind turns. five people were on boards but still I couldn't feel any hic-up in the Mjd engine on steep curvs.road grip gave me lots of confidence to take turns at 70-80 km speed. all times, not only  we left behind the Suvs(scorpio, safari ) & Sedans on hilly roads but also on plane roads.
many timesI had to hold my temptation of driving fast .who says it does not have enough power..
